Scubaroo Dive Tours

Scubaroo Dive tours have been specifically designed to take in the unique wonderland of corals, diverse fish species and reef formations of the Mackerel Islands. Each tour has been created to maximise your experience of the area, and as new dive spots are discovered, they are incorporated into our tours.

A Scubaroo Dive tour can be as flexible as you need it to be. So it doesn't matter whether you're a beginner or an experienced adventure diver, looking for a full week diving or just a day spent snorkelling, you can choose from the following options:


Full Day Diving Tours

At Scubaroo Dive, you can choose between full day shore dives or boat dives.

A shore dive will see Geoff Herbert guide you around the waters and reefs that surround Thevenard Island, one of the ten islands that make up the Mackerel Islands and home base of Scubaroo Dive Centre. Book onto a boat dive and you'll board King Diver and head for the outer reefs where Geoff will introduce you to the coral atolls and the local tropical fish.
Both tours include:

  • Tanks.
  • Weights and belt.
  • Full briefing prior to dive.
  • Lunch and refreshments available on request.

Full Day Diving Tour Offshore - 2 Dives: $200

Full Day Diving Tour Inshore - 2 Dives: $150

Note: Prices do not include equipment hire and are based on a minimum of 4 passengers.


Snorkelling & Beach Combing Tours

Beachcombing_2X.jpgIf spending a lazy day snorkelling and beach combing is more your style, jump on board King Diver and we will take you around the local islands and their coral gardens. In winter you have a great chance to see the migrating whales and also the local turtles.

Snorkelling tour, Full Day Offshore (all gear provided): $200

Snorkelling tour, Half Day inshore (all gear provided): $100

Note: Prices include snorkelling equipment and are based on a minimum of 6 passengers.


Equipment Hire

Scubaroo Dive has full diving and snorkelling equipment hire facilities. Remember though, it is compulsory for us to sight your Certification Card before we can rent scuba equipment to you.
