Scubaroo Night Dive: Chilli- Pearse- Tina- Me- Trevor- Lyn and Instructor Geoff
Skipper: John Bartle

First of all, we would like to congratulate Tina and Chilli who just completed their two days Advanced Open Water Course.
Night Dive is one of the specialties they chose so on Thursday night, we all met on King Diver around six o'clock; the sun was just starting to set, and we were all commenting on the perfect weather conditions; the ocean was like a mirror and the air still warm.
On our way to Paroo, I couldn't help notice smiles of excitement on everyone's face. By the time we jumped in with our torches, the underwater world was in the dark.
At night, colours are at their brightest and all creatures are out feeding. It is time to slow down and look for the little things. Like hundreds of minuscule shrimps, almost transparent and tiny crabs hiding in the hard corals, not–so-shy crayfish walking around, bright red nudibranchs we've never seen before, We saw a strange decorated crab who grows stuff on its back, a baby cat shark sleeping on the reef and a beautiful turtle, who looked a bit crossed to be disturbed.
On our way back home, we celebrated with bubbles, caviar and Camembert.
